Sun City X Baixo UK Garage Bingo

Sun City x Baixo UK Garage Bingo takes over Mecca Bingo Leeds Cross Gates on Saturday 17 October, and it's not your usual bingo night. The whole thing is built around UK garage, so instead of the quiet concentration you'd expect from a bingo hall, it's run as a high-energy party. The organisers describe it as something very different from a traditional session, and that's a fair way to put it.

The line-up does the heavy lifting. Harvey from So Solid Crew is on the decks, and he's joined by DJ Sizzla, DJ Stryda, and Sanchez Payne, who's acting as the host for the night. There's also a mystery special guest on the bill, so the full picture doesn't come out until the night itself. Between the bingo calls and the sets, the music stays firmly in the garage camp, and with a So Solid Crew name on the bill, you've got a good idea of where the sound is coming from.

It's an over-18s night, so you'll need to bring ID to get in. Tickets go from £16.50 to £27, and they're sold through Skiddle. It starts at 20:45 on Saturday 17 October and runs through until Sunday 18 October, so it's a late one. If you're heading that way, the venue is Mecca Bingo Leeds Cross Gates on Cross Gates Road, LS15 7PE.
