Monthly free street food market with a selection of Leeds' best street food traders at Tower Square.
Street Food In The Square returns to Tower Square on Thursday 29 October, the latest in a monthly series that brings a selection of Leeds' best street food traders to Wellington Place. It's a lunchtime thing, running from 12pm to 2pm, so it works as a proper break if you're working nearby or just fancy a proper meal in the middle of the day.
The food is made fresh on the spot, and the variety is one of the best bits. You'll find Mexican burritos, Canadian poutine, Indian chaat and Middle Eastern wraps all in one place, so you can pick whatever you're in the mood for. The organisers announce the specific vendors in advance through their page and social media channels, so if you want to know exactly who's turning up before you head in, it's worth keeping an eye on those.
It's a monthly series, not a one-off, and this particular date falls on the last Thursday of the month. The whole run has been going since 26 March, and it continues through to 26 November, so if you miss this one, there's another coming up soon. It's a good way to try a few different traders without having to trek all over the city.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Leeds and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

Practical side: entry is free, and there's no ticket or preregistration required, so you can just turn up when you're hungry. The venue is fully accessible, with step-free access on one level and accessible toilets in Wellington Central; the nearest blue-badge parking is the NCP car park on site. It's at Tower Square, Wellington Place, Leeds, LS1 4AP, from 12pm to 2pm on Thursday 29 October.
