Stormo bring Italian screamo and post-hardcore to Leeds, with support from Believe in Nothing and Rotifera at Wharf Chambers.
Stormo bring their Italian screamo and post-hardcore to Wharf Chambers on Wednesday 28 October, with Believe in Nothing and Rotifera sharing the bill. It's a Dirty Otter night, and the line-up pulls from three different corners of the heavier end of things: Italy, the south coast, and right here in Leeds.
Stormo are the main draw, playing a sound built on chaotic noise, fast blasts and poetic vocals, released through Prosthetic Records. They're joined by Believe in Nothing, an Eastbourne sludge and noise band founded in 2023 whose music thrives on dynamic tension, walls of noise and guitar offset by silence, atonality and dread, released via Church Road Records. Rotifera are a cryptic art-violence act from Leeds, drawing in members of Pleb, Plague Rider, Fashion Tips, Give Over and 96 Bars.
There are a couple of practical things to keep in mind about the venue. Wharf Chambers is a members-only room with a maximum capacity of 180, so you need to be a member or a guest to get in, and membership is £2 a year. The show is 14+ when accompanied by an adult 18+.
