Halloween-themed sculpt and sip art session for beginners, led by local artists, at The Northern Market.
Paintvine are bringing a Spooky Sculpt and Sip to The Northern Market on Saturday 31 October, from 2pm to 4pm. It's a Halloween-themed session, so you'll be working with clay and a drink in hand on the afternoon of the day itself. The clay is air-dry, which means your piece keeps hardening naturally over the following days rather than needing a kiln.
Paintvine run this as an artist-led experience aimed at complete beginners and creative enthusiasts, and you don't need any prior sculpting experience to get stuck in. A local artist leads the session with step-by-step guidance, and all the materials are provided, so you just turn up and start. Whatever you make, you take home with you. They describe themselves as the UK's best Paint & Sip and Sculpt & Sip provider, having welcomed more than 80,000 guests to their beginner-friendly art events across more than 20 cities.
Beyond a casual get-together, the format is built for nights out, date nights, hen parties and corporate team-building in a relaxed, judgment-free environment. The bar is open on arrival rather than BYOB, and some areas of the venue are restricted to guests aged 18 and over. It's as much about the social side as the sculpting, so it works just as well as a group outing as it does as a solo afternoon.
