18+ Halloween quiz and bingo night hosted by Evil Emily Cullen with scary movie, book and telly rounds, a bingo round and fancy dress, with all quiz money going to charity P.A.F.R.A.S.
Sela Bar is hosting a Spooky Halloween Quiz & Bingo on Wednesday 28 October, from 7:30pm to 11:30pm. It's the work of the house quizmaster, Evil Emily Cullen, and the night is strictly 18+.
The quiz runs through several themed rounds: scary movies, books, telly, musical chairs, and local history, with a blood-curdling bingo round thrown in for good measure. Fancy dress is very much encouraged, so there's plenty of room to lean into the Halloween side of things if you're in the mood. It's a long session, running four hours, so you'll have time to work your way through the rounds without rushing.
Sela Bar has been showcasing live music in Leeds since it opened in 2004, booking everything from local favourites to international acts across funk, soul, jazz and reggae, and it's built a reputation as an intimate gig venue. The quiz is run by the house quizmaster, Evil Emily Cullen, and all the money raised goes to the charity P.A.F.R.A.S.

One practical thing to keep in mind: the room is a basement reached by a narrow flight of sixteen stairs, with no wheelchair access and no disabled toilet. It's £3 per person to play, and all that quiz money goes to P.A.F.R.A.S. The night runs from 7:30pm to 11:30pm at Sela Bar, 20 New Briggate, LS1 6NU.
