Speed Dating - Ages 21-35

Fastlove are running a speed dating night for singles aged 21 to 35 at Chino Latino on Friday 6 November, from 7:30pm to 10:30pm. It's held on the first floor of the Park Plaza on Boar Lane, right in the centre of Leeds.

Fastlove describe themselves as the North's biggest and busiest singles events organiser, and they pitch the night as an in-person alternative to swiping on dating apps. Instead of scrolling through profiles, you'll be in a room full of singles in the same age group, going through a series of short one-on-one conversations — usually three to five minutes each — before you decide whether there's a spark. It's a straightforward way to meet a fair few people in a single evening rather than taking a chance on one date at a time.

The whole session runs for around three hours, so there's plenty of time to get through the rounds without feeling rushed. It's a good shout if you're tired of the apps and fancy actually talking to people in the same room. The age group is 21 to 35, so you'll be meeting people in your own bracket.

Tickets are £11 to £18.70, and the night runs from 7:30pm to 10:30pm, with last entry at 7:45pm — so don't leave it too late to get there if you want to make the most of it.
