Over-18s music quiz night with power ballads, chart classics and old-school anthems at the Belgrave Music Hall.
Sounds Familiar are back at Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen on Friday 5 March 2027, this time with a power ballad special. It's a music quiz, but they describe it as more than that: a mix of your favourite playlist and the best party you've ever been to. They claim to be the only music quiz to have sold out The Camden Roundhouse, to have supported the boy band 5ive, and to have played Glastonbury more times than David Bowie.
The rounds are built from chart classics, old skool anthems, indie bangers, mash-ups, power ballads and guilty pleasures, with more than 100 tunes spanning the 1960s to the present day. Teams are capped at ten, though larger groups are welcome if they split into teams, and the room is strictly for over-18s. The power ballad focus of this one should give you a good idea of the mood, but the usual range of eras and styles still sits underneath.
