Sip & Paint: Autumn Edition – Fundraiser for Eliyas

Jasmin Matharu is hosting a sip and paint afternoon at Blend Café on Saturday 24 October, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. It's an autumn-themed session where you paint your own pumpkin while you have a drink and spend a couple of hours being creative. You don't need any artistic experience or a painting background to join in; the afternoon is pitched as a chance to have fun and switch off.

Every penny raised goes to Eliyas, a young boy with an ultra-rare, life-threatening brain condition called TUBB4A-related leukodystrophy. His family is aiming to raise £200,000 to fly him to America for pioneering treatment he cannot access in the UK. The event is open to all ages, so it works as a family outing as much as a catch-up with friends.

Tickets are £20, which covers your pumpkin, all the painting materials, and a drink. The session runs from 4:00 to 6:00 PM at Blend Café, 104 Burley Road, Woodhouse, LS3 1JP. There's free parking on site, and it's an in-person event with no refunds.
