Singo Bingo

Singo Bingo is at Bibis Italianissimo Restaurant & Cocktail Bar on Saturday 24 October, a music-meets-bingo session that runs from 12:00 to 16:00. It's a daytime one, so you'll be in and out well before the evening rush.

The format is straightforward: you start with a welcome cocktail and lunch from the restaurant's menus, and while you eat, a live band plays iconic tunes. Instead of a caller reading out numbers, you listen for the songs. When you hear one that's on your card, you mark it off. The first person to complete a row calls 'SINGO!' to win a prize, and once the bingo is wrapped up, the band finishes with a set of floor-filling hits to get everyone moving.

It's hosted at Bibis Italianissimo, an authentic family-owned Italian restaurant and cocktail bar in Leeds city centre that's been around since 1974. The place is home to 'the sensational showtime', with its stage coming alive bi-weekly with live bands and tribute acts, and the room holds around 50 people, so it's an intimate crowd rather than a big hall. The session itself runs from 12:00 to 16:00, with 12:00 arrival, and the live show takes up about an hour and a half of that time.

Tickets are £25 per person, which covers your welcome drink, your bingo card, and the live show. You'll need to order your lunch separately from the menu. It's at Bibis Italianissimo Restaurant & Cocktail Bar, Criterion Place, Leeds LS1 4AG.
