Seafoam Green

Seafoam Green play Brudenell Social Club on Tuesday 20 October, their only Leeds date this autumn. They're the main draw of the night, and they've got support from GA-20, so it's a double bill rather than a single act.

If you're not familiar with them, Seafoam Green are a band that works their way through the quieter, more textural end of indie rock. The name itself gives a fair hint of the sound they're after — something a bit washed out and atmospheric rather than loud and direct. It's the kind of music that lets the space between the notes do a fair bit of the heavy lifting, so it's a set that rewards paying attention rather than just having it on in the background.

GA-20 open the night, and with two acts on the bill, you'll get a full evening's music rather than just a single set. Between the two, there's enough to keep you occupied well into the night, so it's worth arriving early if you want to catch the whole thing from the start.

Doors open at 19:30, and tickets are £17.50 in advance. It's a Tuesday night, so it's a mid-week one rather than a weekend gig — something to keep in mind if you're planning your week. With GA-20 on support and Seafoam Green headlining, it's a full night of music at Brudenell, and the £17.50 covers both.
