Wine tasting evening revisiting the 2019 'Ribeauville Riesling' line-up, run by the Yorkshire Local Wine School at St Peter's Hall.
Ribeauville Riesling Revisited is coming to St Peter's Hall on Wednesday 25 November, a tasting that brings back a line-up first poured on 28 November 2019. That original session, also called Ribeauville Riesling, sold out and ended up being the first of many deep dives into Alsace the organisers have run since. This one is a revisit of that same line-up, so it's a chance to see how those wines have developed over the years.
The evening is run by the Yorkshire Local Wine School, whose permanent home is St Peter's Hall on The Calls. They're part of the Local Wine School Network, a group that runs wine courses and tastings across the UK, and this is one of the sessions they host right here in Leeds. The focus is on Riesling from Ribeauville, one of the wine villages in Alsace, so it's a concentrated look at a specific place and a single variety rather than a broad survey.
