RDZ / AMWG / mattrobson Measured Lag

RDZ headline an electronic night at The Fox And Newt on Friday 6 November, with AMWG and mattrobson on the bill. It's a three-act line-up that pulls from a few different corners of the electronic world, so you'll hear a fair bit of ground covered over the course of the night.

The organisers describe the evening as a blend of complex electronics, beat poetry and revivalist jungle. That's a wide spread to fit into one night — the complex electronics sit at the more intricate, listening end of the spectrum, the beat poetry brings a spoken-word element, and the revivalist jungle reaches back to the breakbeat-heavy sound of the nineties. It's not a single-genre affair, so the mood shifts as the night goes on.

Despite the range, it's formatted as an accessible club night with an affordable entry price, rather than a seated concert or a high-priced ticket. The Fox And Newt is at 9 Burley Street in Leeds, and the whole thing is strictly over-18s.

Doors open at 20:00 and the night runs until 23:00, with last entry at 21:00. If you're planning to arrive later, keep that last-entry time in mind. Tickets are available at ibizabible.co.uk.
