Drag night themed around horror, creepypasta and web series, part of Leeds' Halloween weekend, at the co-op bar Wharf Chambers.
Queer Panic returns to Wharf Chambers on Thursday 29 October, with this edition titled Creepy Dragsta. It's a drag night that, on this occasion, leans into the internet's darker corners: horror, hoaxes, creepypasta stories and web series. They've billed it as coming 'from Hell!', and it forms part of Leeds' Halloween weekend.
If you haven't been, Wharf Chambers is a bar and members' club in the city centre run as a workers' co-op and a not-for-profit space for music, art, film, politics and discussion. It sits on the ground floor of a Victorian former pork pie factory on Wharf Street, on the edge of The Calls behind the Corn Exchange, and has a beer garden. There's a free Radical Lending Library inside stocking books on race, gender, sexuality, queerness, class and radical politics, and the venue works to a safer spaces agreement, with gender-neutral toilets, a wheelchair-accessible cubicle with a baby changer and a permanent hearing loop.
