Club night presented by plentyppl with CasuallyClued, Marvin Jupiter, Juno and REO at Hope House, with profits going to the MAP charity.
plentyppl are taking the trip up the M1 to Hope House on Thursday 24 October, their first Northern dance. They're presenting the night themselves, and the line-up runs through CasuallyClued, Marvin Jupiter, Juno and REO (UK).
Hope House is the home of the Cosmic Slop dance, so it's a fitting spot for a crew coming up from the south to set up shop for the night. The four names on the bill — CasuallyClued, Marvin Jupiter, Juno and REO — will be taking turns across the evening, and since plentyppl are running the whole thing, it's their first time bringing their particular way of doing things this far north.
There's a bit more to the night than just the music, too. The profits are going to MAP, an alternative education provider that works with young people who can't access the mainstream school system. It's a good cause to have running in the background while the dance is on.
