Hosted pirate-themed party and pub crawl with music, free shots, games and sword fights at The Hop.
The Hop is hosting the Pirate Boat and Pub Crawl on Thursday 29 October, starting at 12:00 at Granary Wharf, Dark Neville Street, LS1 4BR. It's billed as the UK's only fully hosted pirate party experience, and it's exactly what it sounds like: a pirate-themed day that combines music, drinks and games with a guided crawl through several venues, led by hosts in full costume.
Because it's hosted, you aren't just wandering from one pub to the next on your own. The pirate hosts lead the way, and the whole thing is built around a few specific activities. There are free shots throughout the day, and you'll get free pirate accessories and props to wear. The interactive side is where it gets a bit more than just drinking: there are sword fights, team battles, tug-of-war challenges and karaoke, so it's as much about the games as it is about the pubs.
