One Dimensional Creatures & Queer of Hearts

One Dimensional Creatures and Queer of Hearts are playing Northern Guitars Café Bar on Saturday 12 December, with doors opening at 8:00pm. It's a double bill in the city centre, and the entry is free.

One Dimensional Creatures — also known as One Dimes — are an alternative post-punk and grunge band from Manchester. They've put out a debut album, Tolerance Paradox, and have spent their time playing their way around the UK. That's taken them from Manchester rooms like The Peer Hat and HMV Manchester to festival stages including Easy Fest and Broken Knees Fest. RGM Magazine described their sound as reminiscent of IDLES spliced with The Murder Capital, but with an air of good old-fashioned old-skool punk. If those names ring a bell, you've got a fair idea of the territory they're working in: loud, guitar-led, and with a bit of a rough edge.

They're sharing the bill with Queer of Hearts, so it's two acts on one night. The venue is Northern Guitars Café Bar at 41 Call Ln, LS1 7BT, right in the heart of Leeds. Doors are at 8:00pm, and entry is free.
