Nya as Whitney Houston Show

Nya brings her Whitney Houston tribute to Bibis Italianissimo Restaurant & Cocktail Bar on Tuesday 1 December, from 18:30 to 21:30. She's not alone on stage: she's joined by two backing singers, and the three of them are billed as looking and sounding like the Queen of Pop herself. Nya is described as the UK's fastest-rising Whitney Houston tribute act and a firm favourite at Bibis, so this is one of her regular spots in the city.

The night is part of Bibis Showtime, the restaurant's live-music series that's been running for almost two decades. It's billed as bringing the best Jazz, Motown and tribute bands in the country to the venue, and it's the same stage that comes alive bi-weekly with live performances. Bibis Italianissimo is an authentic, family-owned Italian restaurant and cocktail bar in Leeds city centre, established in 1974, and it positions itself as a place for dinner, show and dancing, with a side dancefloor for guests to get moving.

There are a few practical things to keep in mind if you're planning to go. You're assigned a table when you book, and a non-refundable music charge per person is taken at the time of booking. On the night, at least one main course per person must be purchased from the Bibis Festive Menu, which runs throughout December. The music charge is £22.00 per person, and the show runs from 18:30 to 21:30 on Tuesday 1 December.
