Halloween special edition of the late-night club night Nostalgia Tuesdays at The Backroom on Call Lane.
Nostalgia Tuesdays returns to The Backroom on Tuesday 27 October, this time as a Halloween special. It's a club night in the basement of Call Lane, and given the date, the Halloween theme is the main thing on the bill.
If you haven't been, The Backroom is a split-level basement tucked under the railway bridge at the bottom of Call Lane, in the Hunslet area of the city centre. It's been running as a late-night room since 2012, and it's built its name on staying open long after most other spots have called it a night. The music policy there doesn't stick to one sound; it runs across genres, with a mix of resident and guest DJs taking turns. They also run seasonal nights and games nights, so this Halloween special fits right into the usual rotation.

The night kicks off at 23:00, so it's a late start that carries well into the early hours. Entry is £7, and it's a Tuesday night, which means you've got the rest of the week to recover before you're back at it. If you're heading down, it's at 50a Call Lane, LS1 6DT.
