LEGO building day with massive brick pits, MOCs, collaborative mosaics and more than 20 traders selling rare and collectible LEGO sets.
National Brick Events is coming to The Edge on Sunday 22 November, a full day for anyone who spends their time building with LEGO. It's one of those events that works as well for a casual family outing as it does for the serious collectors and AFOLs—Adult Fans of LEGO—who know their way around a rare minifigure.
The day is built around massive brick pits overflowing with LEGO, where you can just dive in and build whatever you imagine. Alongside those are the MOCs—My Own Creations—the kind of detailed, custom builds that talented builders put together on their own, and interactive collaborative mosaics that you can add to as you go. If you're more into the collecting side, there'll be more than 20 traders there with a wide range of rare, retired and collectible LEGO sets and minifigures, while MOC designers show off unique builds from across the wider LEGO community.
It's a broad mix, so it suits a few different ways of spending the day: you can spend a few hours in the pits, browse the traders for something you've been hunting, or just walk around and see what other people have built. It's as much about the making as it is about the collecting.
