Morley Live Kids Halloween Party

Morley Live CIC are putting on a kids' Halloween party at their venue in Morley on Thursday 29 October, from 5pm to 7pm. It's a children's disco, so the whole thing is built around getting the little ones on their feet rather than sitting around. The session mixes party games with a selection of children's disco classics, the kind of songs that usually get a room full of kids dancing without much prompting.

It's run by Morley Live CIC, the community interest company that calls the venue home, and the two-hour window means it's a proper after-school thing — it starts late enough for most to get there and wraps up by seven, so you're not chasing them into the middle of the night. The party games are woven in between the music, so there's a bit of a break from the dancing every now and then.

One of the better bits is that the ticket covers more than just the entry. Each child gets a Fruit Shoot and a choice of snack, so you don't have to worry about packing a separate bag for them to munch on while they're there.
