Weekly over-18s stand-up night presented by LDS Comedy with fresh material from BBC comedians at Headrow House.
Monday Night Comedy is back at Headrow House on Monday 2 November, part of the weekly stand-up night run by LDS Comedy. It's a regular fixture in the city's comedy calendar, with a new line-up every Monday, so if you've been before, you'll be seeing a different set of acts this time around.
The night is built around fresh material from comedians who've appeared on the BBC, which is a good way to frame what to expect. Rather than polished, road-tested routines, you're seeing work in progressโthe kind of set where a comic is still figuring out the timing or tweaking the punchlines. It's aimed at audiences who prefer their laughs unfiltered and current, so it's less about the big, familiar hits and more about the raw, early stages of a new act.
Headrow House is a room with a 200 capacity, and the show usually clocks in at around an hour, making it a fairly easy one to fit into a Monday evening. It's strictly for over-18s, so it's not one for the family crowd.
