Student-only Wednesday night of throwbacks and ridiculous themes for the Leeds University Gryphons, with DJs Myles Robinson and Dan Hills, marked sold out.
Mischief is back at The Warehouse on Wednesday 11 November, running from 11:00pm until 4:00am. It's part of the VK Mania night, and it's billed as 'The Wednesday night home of Leeds University Gryphons'. The Warehouse hosts the university sports teams' social events every week, so this is one of those mid-week fixtures that's as much about the crowd as the music.
The night is split across two rooms. The Main Room is where the bulk of the action is, with DJ Myles Robinson on the decks. The Loft Room is a smaller, more intimate space where resident DJ Dan Hills spins hip hop and RnB. If you're not feeling the main floor, you can always drift up there for something a bit more laid back.
Production is a big part of what they do here. They've got a state-of-the-art sound and light system, and they don't hold back on the extras: CO2 showers, balloon drops and confetti are all part of the usual run of things. The soundtrack leans on throwbacks and ridiculous themes, and the night has been described as Leeds' most popular student event eight years running.
