Live gig with Mini Disc, PETUNIA, Porclares and Dahlia at The Lending Room, the upstairs room at The Library on Woodhouse Lane.
Mini Disc headline The Lending Room on Thursday 29 October, with PETUNIA, Porclares and Dahlia (FOE) on the bill. It's a four-band night, so there's a fair bit of ground to cover before the headliners take over.
If you're not familiar with the venue, The Lending Room is the upstairs room at The Library, a pub on Woodhouse Lane on the edge of Hyde Park, right next to the main University of Leeds campus. The building has lived a few lives before settling as a music venue: it was a fire station and then a library. It runs its own sound system and sound engineers, booking everything from local artists to international touring acts, with local names picking up support slots alongside headliners as well as headlining shows of their own. It holds 180 people, so it's a proper room for a night like this.

With Mini Disc leading the bill and three supports to follow, the evening should keep you occupied for a good while. The Lending Room's position on Woodhouse Lane makes it easy to get to if you're coming from the city centre or the university end of town, and being upstairs in a pub means you can grab a drink before the first band kicks off. The date is Thursday 29 October, so it's a mid-week one — keep that in mind if you're planning your night.
