Free adult-only drop-in craft session to make a creative response to the exhibitions and collections at Leeds Art Gallery.
Meet & Make is back at Leeds Art Gallery on Friday 13 November, part of the gallery's creative programme for adults. It's a drop-in session, so you don't need to book ahead — you just turn up and get stuck in.
The whole thing is built around the exhibitions and collections on display. The idea is to wander through the gallery, pick up on the themes, techniques and materials you see in the artworks, and then make a creative response of your own. It's less about producing a masterpiece and more about playing with what's on the walls and seeing where it takes you. You'll be working in Artspace, with refreshments and materials provided, so you don't need to bring anything but yourself. It's also a social one: you'll be making alongside other people and sharing a chat over a cuppa while you work.
It's an adults-only session, and capacity is limited, so arriving early is a good shout if you want to make sure you get a spot. If you've got any questions before you head in, the gallery directs people to meetandmake@leeds.gov.uk.

It runs from 13:00 to 15:00 on the second Friday of the month during term-time, and it's a free drop-in. The gallery operates on a 'Give What You Can' basis, so you just pick the price you're happy to give when you arrive.
