Adult cabaret strip show night at the workers' co-op venue Wharf Chambers, with masks and costumes encouraged.
The Masquerade Str!p Show comes to Wharf Chambers on Saturday 24 October, running from 19:30 to 23:00. It's an adult cabaret strip show night, and the organisers have leaned hard into the secret society angle: they're billing it as a 'super secret viewing for your eyes only', with a classified line-up of anonymous performers. Phones get stickered on arrival, and costumes and masks are very much encouraged, with masks handed out to anyone who doesn't bring their own.
If you haven't been to Wharf Chambers before, it's worth knowing what it is. It's a bar and venue in the centre of Leeds, run as a workers' co-op and members' club, operating as a not-for-profit space for music, art, film, politics and discussion. The room sits on the ground floor of a Victorian former pork pie factory on Wharf Street, on the edge of The Calls behind the Corn Exchange. Membership costs £2 a year or £15 for life, and each member can bring up to three guests.

Beyond the main room, the venue houses a free Radical Lending Library stocking books on race, gender, sexuality, queerness, class and radical politics. It works to a safer spaces agreement, has gender-neutral toilets, a wheelchair-accessible cubicle with a baby changer and a permanent hearing loop. The Masquerade Str!p Show runs from 19:30 to 23:00 on Saturday 24 October at Wharf Chambers, 23-25 Wharf St, LS2 7EQ.
