Weekly student party night with RnB, Hip Hop, Afrobeats and 2000s music, DJs, on-stage dance-offs and rap-alongs at Belgrave Music Hall.
MAAD CITY is back at Belgrave Music Hall & Canteen on Tuesday 27 October, part of its regular Tuesday night run. It's a club night that leans heavily into RnB, Hip Hop, Afrobeats and 2000s music, with DJs and hosts on the decks and the mic throughout. There are also on-stage dance-offs and rap-alongs, so it's as much about what's happening on the floor as what's coming through the speakers.
The night is put on by Fresh2Death, and they've billed it as 'the maaddest student party in Leeds' and 'the baddest student party in Leeds' — a bit of a double-claim that points to the crowd it's built for. It's a weekly thing, so if you miss this one, it'll be back the following Tuesday.
Beyond the dancefloor, there's a bit more to do than just dance. You can grab Dough Boys pizza slices when you need a break, and there's a rooftop that looks out over the city skyline with its own private bar, which is a good spot to step away from the noise for a while. It's all under one roof, so you can move between the main room, the pizza, and the roof without leaving the building.

Tickets start from £5.55 and are sold through the Fresh2Death website and Fixr. The night kicks off at 23:30 on Tuesday 27 October and runs into Wednesday morning, so it's a late one. Capacity is limited, so it's worth getting yours in advance rather than leaving it to the door.
