Lush White Rose: Sensory Morning

Lush Cosmetics Leeds White Rose is hosting a Sensory Morning on Sunday 18 October, a one-hour SEND session designed for children to explore, learn and play at their own pace. It runs from 9:30 to 10:30 in the morning, so it's an early start on a Sunday.

The session is built around four different stations: Ice Play, Water Play, a Scent Station and a Touch Station. Each one is set up to stimulate the senses and encourage calm, creative exploration, and the whole thing is hands-on, so children can get stuck in with the ice, water, smells and textures. It's a sensory experience rather than a structured class, and the point is for kids to move through the stations and engage with them in whatever way works for them.

One of the most practical bits is that the store is closed to the general public during the session, so there's no crowd or bustle to navigate. Lush staff are on hand throughout, and every child leaves with a little goody bag to take home.
