Liz Lawrence plays the Brudenell Social Club in Headingley, Leeds, to support her album 'Vespers', a 14+ night.
Liz Lawrence plays Brudenell Social Club on Friday 13 November, with doors opening at 19:30. She'll be joined by guests to be announced, so the full line-up isn't quite set yet.
The set will draw from her album Vespers, a record about tragedy, written in the ashes of disaster and dedicated to her sister Jessie, who died in 2024 aged just 35 after a serious accident in Ireland. It's unvarnished, spare and elegiac, written over the course of three weeks six months after Jessie's death. From those sessions came the singles 'Exploded Into Flowers', 'Black Ulysses' and 'A Good One'.
