Halloween 18+ night at Leeds Student Union with five themed rooms, scare actors, live performers and music across the venue.
Living Dead Festival takes over Leeds University Union on Saturday 31 October, the annual Halloween night when the student union is transformed into a multi-room world of immersive production, twisted spaces, live performers and huge music. The whole venue gets decorated for the occasion, with scare actors, fortune tellers and magicians scattered throughout.
The night is built around five spaces, each with its own experience. Land of the Dead in Stylus is a fruity takeover; the Pub of Horrors in the Old Bar plays R&B and hip-hop; Disco Inferno in the Pyramid Canteen handles disco and house; a Silent Disco in the Pyramid Theatre leans on throwbacks; and Karaoke runs in the Function room. You can drift between them as you please, so you're not stuck with one sound for the night.

It's strictly 18+, and you'll need a valid photo ID to get in. The festival runs from 23:00 until 04:00, with last entry at 01:30, so you've got plenty of time to work your way through the different rooms. Tickets are between £9 and £17.60, depending on when you buy.
