Saturday session of live music at The Bootlegger, pitched as a soundtrack for after-work drinks and a date night.
Live Music Saturdays kick off at The Bootlegger on Saturday 24 October, the first of a six-week run of Saturday night sessions. It's not a one-off: the series continues through the autumn, with dates on 31 October, 7, 14, 21 and 28 November, so if you can't make this first one, there are five more to choose from over the next couple of months.
The nights are built around bringing in talented live musicians and soulful sounds, and they're pitched as a soundtrack for a few different kinds of Saturday. The organisers describe them as working for after-work drinks, a date night, a catch-up with friends, or just something different to do on a Saturday evening. The idea is to put live music in a room that promises a vibrant atmosphere, rather than as a standalone concert you have to build your whole night around.
Because it's a series, it's the kind of thing you can drop into once or make a regular habit of. If you're in the city on a Saturday and fancy live music without the commitment of a full tour date, you've got six chances to catch it across October and November.
