Leeds - People Planet Pint Sustainability Meetup

People Planet Pint is back at The Brew Society on Wednesday 21 October, the Leeds chapter of a monthly sustainability meetup run by Small99. It's aimed at people in the tech space with an interest in sustainability, though the organisers frame every tech job as also a climate job and welcome anyone regardless of experience or background. The whole thing is built as a space where everyone can feel comfortable learning and sharing ideas, and it keeps things simple: no pitches, no PowerPoints, and no panels — just conversation over a drink.

What started as a local meetup has grown into a global series. Small99 says it now runs in more than 140 cities across 15 countries, with around 80 events a month. Since 2023, they've directly trained over 3,000 businesses on Net Zero and carbon reduction, reaching more than 50,000 businesses in total. The Leeds chapter is the group's monthly informal sustainability meetup, and the series also includes a People Planet Pastry strand.

The evening is supported by KRYSTAL, an award-winning, 100% renewably powered web hosting provider and the UK's only B Corp web hosting and cloud provider, which buys the first ten drinks at every session. It kicks off at 18:00 at The Brew Society, 26 Aire Street, Leeds, LS1 4HT, and costs between free and £5.
