Family-friendly K-Pop disco with live music from Demon Hunters at Canal Club.
Canal Club is hosting a family-friendly K-Pop disco on Saturday 14 November, with Demon Hunters on the bill. It's a daytime one, running from 11:30 to 13:30, so it's more of a mid-morning dance than a late-night shift.
If you're not familiar with the venue, Canal Club bills itself as Leeds' latest all-day destination. By day, it serves a global-inspired sharing menu and trendsetting cocktails; by night, it turns into one of the city's busiest bars. It's known for running a string of themed day parties alongside its Saturday Bottomless Brunch and Supper Club, with live DJs spinning old-school R&B, club classics, garage, funky house and disco. This K-Pop session fits right into that daytime slot.
On the bill is Demon Hunters, and the whole thing is aimed at families, so it's as much for the kids as for anyone else who knows their way around a K-Pop chorus. Between the disco and the guest act, it's a couple of hours of dance music in the middle of a Saturday morning, rather than a full day's commitment.
