Festive party night with Christmas classics, pop tracks and festive cocktails at Popworld Leeds.
Popworld Leeds is doing a festive party night called Holiday who-be-what-ee, which kicks off on Friday 18 December and runs through to Sunday 20 December. It's not a one-night thing, so if you're not free on the Friday, you've got the whole weekend to work with.
There isn't a set list of acts to follow here. Instead, the night is built around a character they describe as a 'cheeky green festive troublemaker' arriving at Popworld on a mission to cause holiday mischief. That character, the 'Merry Menace', is left to spread chaos and cheer across the weekend, and the whole thing leans into playful chaos rather than a scheduled programme. Christmas classics and pop tracks run through the room, and there are festive cocktails to go with them. Festive pranks, outrageous decorations and plenty of tinsel round out the scene.

It's a party night rather than a show, so it's more about the atmosphere and the music than a specific performance. If you're after a Christmas night out in the city, this is one of the options on the go that weekend. It starts on Friday 18 December at 17:00 and carries on until Sunday 20 December, so you can pick whichever night suits you best. Tickets are from £2 to £5 and are sold through Fatsoma. Popworld is at 43 Cookridge St, Leeds LS2 3AW.
