Student Halloween Monday of GROOVE with two rooms at MiNT XL, headlined by The Cage presenting Invicta Audio.
The Cage brings Invicta Audio to MiNT XL on Monday 26 October, part of the Groove Halloween night. It's a drum and bass showcase, and the bill runs from 11pm until 4am, so it's a late one that carries over into Tuesday morning. The Cage presents Invicta Audio, with Invicta, Anton, Olivia, Rose, C3, Nekky and B Shaw all taking turns on the decks.
Invicta Audio is a drum and bass act built on powerful basslines, rolling drums and distinctive D&B flavours, and they describe their aim as showcasing fresh talent. That's the focus of the night: the D&B sound they've built, with a line-up of seven names across the session. If you're into the heavier, rolling side of the genre, that's where this sits.
It's all under the Groove banner, which bills itself as the new home of the biggest student Monday in Leeds. They're taking over MiNT XL with two rooms under one roof: the Ball Room, playing commercial anthems, house, disco and dance classics, and the Club Room, dedicated to underground house, tech and garage. The night runs with festival-level production — immersive lighting, lasers, CO2 blasts and confetti — and there's a strict 'no phones' policy in place.
