Get Down with the Kids Family Dance Class

Get Down with the Kids is a family dance class running at Left Bank Leeds on Tuesday 27 October, from 12:30 to 13:30. It's a Halloween-themed taster session for children and their grown-ups, and the whole hour is built around learning a dance routine to a mix of Halloween songs. The class is for children aged 5 to 11, and every child needs to be accompanied by an adult.

It's delivered in partnership with Dance Studio Leeds, which is based at Mabgate Mills in LS9. If you're not already familiar with them, they run a broad range of dance classes and experiences from their home there, with adult classes that go from absolute beginners up to more experienced levels. They also do wedding dance lessons, parties, team building, venue hire, and educational outreach, so this family session is just one part of what they do across the city.

The class itself is a single hour on a Tuesday afternoon, so it's more of a midday thing than an after-school one. It costs £10 for one adult and one child, with each additional child £3 on top. Tickets are non-refundable, and the session runs from 12:30 to 13:30 at Left Bank Leeds, LS6 1LJ.
