Fin Taylor: The Pre-Emptive Comeback Special

Fin Taylor brings his new stand-up show, The Pre-Emptive Comeback Special, to O2 Academy Leeds on Thursday 29 October. It's part of his 2026 tour across the UK and Ireland, and it's being billed as his biggest one yet.

If you've come across him through the internet rather than the stage, the title gives you a fair idea of where he's coming from. He's built a reputation as the 'King of the Internet Jungle', known for sharp, direct, and uncompromising social commentary. That style grew out of the UK club circuit and the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, where he ran a series of sold-out shows. The material mixes honest observation with culture, politics, and modern behaviour, and it's exactly that kind of fearless, straight-talking stand-up he's bringing to the road with this tour.

For the last few years, Taylor has been more of a voice in your headphones than a face on a stage. He's had success with his chart-topping podcast Fin vs History and his interview series Fin Vs The Internet, so this tour marks his return to performing in front of a live audience. It's a shift back to the room he started in, and The Pre-Emptive Comeback Special is the show that takes him there.

It's a single-act night, so it's just Taylor on stage. The show is at O2 Academy Leeds, 55 Cookridge Street, LS2 3AW. Doors open at 18:30, the show starts at 20:00, and there's a curfew at 23:00.
