Gentle family yoga session blending simple poses, playful partner work and games, mindful breathing and guided relaxation for all ages.
Love Yoga Leeds is running a family yoga session on Saturday 28 November, from 11:30 am to 12:15 pm, led by Debs. It's held in the studio's Grade II listed chapel in the heart of Meanwood, and it's part of a regular run of family classes that they hold on select weekends and during school holidays.
The session blends simple yoga poses, playful partner work and games, mindful breathing and guided relaxation, with moments of stillness and gratitude. It's pitched as a gentle, screen-free way to reconnect body, mind and heart, and as an antidote to the 'we're all so busy' pace of modern life. They describe the benefits for parents as quality time and reduced stress, and for children as confidence, focus and emotional regulation, before a guided relaxation closes the session.
