Over-18s Halloween party curated by Ewan McVicar across the three rooms of Mint XL, with house, techno, disco and electro.
Ewan McVicar takes over Mint XL on Saturday 31 October for a Halloween special, and he's not just playing one room. He's curating all three of the venue's spaces for the night, which means the music will be running across the whole floor rather than concentrated in one spot. It's a long one, too: it kicks off at 10:00pm and runs through until 6:00am on Sunday morning, so there's plenty of room to move between the rooms as the night goes on.
On the decks with him are Special Request, Olive F, Us Two and LAMMER. Between them, they'll be working through house, techno, tech house, disco and electro, with the different styles spread across the three rooms. Because McVicar is curating the whole thing, you can expect the music to shift as you move from one space to the next, rather than everything sounding the same in every corner. If you're into the house and techno side of things, that's where the bulk of the night sits, with disco and electro filling in the gaps.

Mint XL is at 16-18 Woodhouse Lane, LS2 8LX, right in the heart of Leeds. It's an over-18s night, so keep your ID handy. The music starts at 10:00pm and goes until 6:00am, and last entry is 1:00am, so if you're heading in later in the night, make sure you're through the doors by then.
