Live show by heavy band Every Hell, with As Living Arrows and Big Quit, at Santiago Bar in Grand Arcade.
Every Hell play Santiago Bar on Friday 30 October, with As Living Arrows and Big Quit opening for them. It's a three-band bill, so you'll get a full night of music rather than just a single set.
Every Hell are a Brighton/Bristol five-piece fronted by vocalist and saxophonist Will Gardner, alongside Toby Stewart on guitar and vocals, Andrew Gosden on bass and vocals, Mark Roberts on drums and production, and Jules Maas-Palmer on guitars and synths. They describe their sound as 'Doom Pop' — a mix of stoner metal, indie-punk and art-rock, with distorted saxophone running through it. Their debut EP, Vertebrate, came out in October 2024 and was recorded live to tape, and their new EP, The People's Republic of Hell, follows that. Between the two, they'll have plenty to draw from for the set.
Before this, the members come from a fair few other bands: Black Peaks, Broker, Memory of Elephants and Skin Failure. They've played festivals like 2000trees, ArcTanGent, StrangeForms, Castlefest, Misery Loves Company and Noizzefest, and have shared stages with Sick Joy, Knives, The St Pierre Snake Invasion and Peach. If you've caught them at one of those, this is a chance to see them in a smaller room.
