Underground club night with deep house, minimal, breaks and tech in The Warehouse and UKG, jungle and drum & bass in The Loft.
DVOTION are back at The Warehouse on Tuesday 20 October for SZN 005, their latest club night in the heart of Leeds. It's a Tuesday, so it's one of those mid-week ones that runs late into the early hours, from 11:00pm through to 4:00am.
If you've been around the city's underground scene for a while, you'll know DVOTION. They describe themselves as born in the shadows of Leeds' warehouse scene, and they've spent their time building more than just a series of nights — they talk about it as a movement, the heartbeat of the city's underground, built on raw energy, heavy lineups and a loyal crowd. It's a night that's grown out of the very warehouse culture it takes its name from.
The sound is split across two rooms, so you can drift between them depending on what you're in the mood for. The main room, The Warehouse, leans deep into minimal, house, breaks and tech. Upstairs in The Loft, things speed up: UKG, jungle, speedy G and drum & bass. Having two rooms means you can switch from the steady, stripped-back house downstairs to the faster, breakbeat-led sounds upstairs without leaving the building.
