Night of alt-rock, post-punk, noise, dream-pop, shoegaze, grunge and metalcore headlined by Divers Green, Morphic and Dorodango, with a new music DJ.
Dumb Luck! is back at The Packhorse on Friday 23 October, with Divers Green, Morphic and Dorodango on the bill. It's a night of alt-rock and its various offshoots — post-punk, noise, dream-pop, shoegaze, grunge and metalcore — put on by Not a thing. CIC, the promoter behind the Leeds Gig Guide. The Packhorse is a Grade II listed Victorian pub opposite the University of Leeds, one of the city's best grassroots music venues; its upstairs room hosts live music, comedy and touring acts, while the downstairs bar serves craft and cask beers.
All three bands come from the North of England. Divers Green are a raw hard rock outfit from Barrow-in-Furness, walking the line between punk rock, melodic grunge and heavy riffs. Morphic are a Leeds four-piece combining heavy riffs and wide sonic soundscapes. Dorodango are a West Yorkshire experimental trio inspired by King Crimson, Black Midi, John Coltrane, Tool and Kyuss.

Between the live sets, new music will be DJed before, between and after, so there's something playing from start to finish. Doors open at 7:30pm and the night finishes at 11pm. Tickets are £7.00 to £9.00.
