Downtown Disco night of disco, funky grooves and house with Michael Gray, Jaegerossa, Ian Ossia and Lisa Jane at Archive.
Downtown Disco returns to Archive on Saturday 14 November, with Michael Gray and Jaegerossa heading up the bill. It's a night built around disco, funky grooves and uplifting house, and it's back at the same spot on Kirkstall Road where it's built a following around a consistent sound. The whole thing is described as a celebration of the music and the community of people who love to dance, and this edition brings in two names from outside the city to lead the way.
Michael Gray is an international house music icon whose productions and DJ sets have soundtracked dancefloors across the world, and he'll be sharing the night with Jaegerossa, known for infectious disco grooves and feel-good house. They're joined by Ian Ossia, one of the Downtown Disco founders and a driving force behind the event, and Lisa Jane, who's become one of its defining sounds as a resident. Between the two of them, Ossia and Jane have helped shape the night's identity over time, so they'll be there alongside the guests.

It's a long one, running from 9:00pm through to 2:00am, with tickets from £15.00. If you're into disco and house, it's a straightforward night: four DJs, five hours, and the same dancefloor it's been returning to.
