Sunday double show of live music with Dominic Halpin & The Honey B's, a crooner act playing swing, soul and rock 'n' roll classics.
Dominic Halpin & The Honey B's are back at Bibis Italianissimo on Sunday 1 November, and this time they're doing a double. Instead of the usual single set, they're playing twice in one day — an afternoon show and an evening show — so you can catch them twice over if you're that keen.
Bibis is a family-owned Italian restaurant and cocktail bar in the city centre, open since 1974, and its stage comes alive every fortnight with live bands and tribute acts. This is one of those bi-weekly slots, and the bill brings back Halpin and his band for the double-header.
Halpin is a crooner in the mould of Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and Elvis, backed by The Honey B's. Together they work their way through swing, soul, rock 'n' roll and classic favourites, and they're known for doing it with warmth, humour and first-class musicianship. The vocals are smooth, and there are plenty of moments that get the whole room singing along.
