18+ night of high-stakes bingo, stand-up comedy and Desi music for Diwali, with a costume competition, sweet treats and a photobooth.
Desi Bingo returns to Archive on Friday 6 November, this time as a Diwali edition. It's a night that mixes high-stakes bingo, stand-up comedy and non-stop Desi music, and this particular run is set against the backdrop of Diwali, so the whole thing leans into the festive side of things.
There are a few signature bits to look out for. There's a 'Desi Icon' costume competition, where you're encouraged to turn up dressed as a Desi icon, and a self-serve 'Festive Mithai Station' for sweet treats. A 'Memory Maker' photobooth is also on the night, so there's a bit more to it than just the bingo. Behind the decks, West Yorkshire's own DJ Saiqa mixes classic Bhangra and Bollywood with R&B and dancehall, keeping the music going throughout.
