Clinton Baptiste, the clairvoyant medium from 'Phoenix Nights' played by Alex Lowe, returns to The Wardrobe for an intimate seasonal show with readings and new material.
Clinton Baptiste is back at The Wardrobe on Wednesday 9 December, the venue that originally made him famous. For those who don't know the name, he's the useless clairvoyant medium and psychic who became a cult figure through Peter Kay's smash-hit comedy Phoenix Nights, played by Alex Lowe. This is an intimate seasonal show built around Christmas, so it's a bit of a homecoming for the character.
The bill mixes the best of his recent work with brand-new material, stories, jokes and demonstrations of his psychic ability. It follows his trademark format: he takes to the audience to deliver truthful but startling readings from the spirit world. If you've seen him before, you'll know how that works — he spends as much time working the room as he does talking to the other side.
