Punk band Character Actors play the Lending Room in Woodhouse with special guests.
Character Actors play the Lending Room on Friday 13 November, with special guests on the bill. It's a Leeds band, and they describe themselves as the city's only British-Dutch-Seychellois outfit — a gathering of character actors and special guests.
They've spent the last few years playing across the UK alongside some of the country's best punk artists and putting out well-received DIY releases. The press has drawn comparisons to The Menzingers, Jeff Rosenstock, PUP and Joyce Manor, so if those names ring a bell, you've got a good idea of the territory they're in.
In September they released A History of Crashes, a ten-track CD that documents their first five years. It's a retrospective of their early work, and it comes ahead of a new album they're expecting to put out in early 2027. Between the two, the set should pull from both their back catalogue and whatever they've been working on since.
