Leeds session of the bluffing social deduction game Blood on the Clocktower, with three simultaneous games for beginners, intermediates and advanced players, run by the Leeds Nerds meetup.
Blood on the Clocktower is back at The Tetley on Wednesday 28 October, starting at 18:00. It's a social deduction game set in the town of Ravenswood Bluff, where a demon has been unleashed and kills by night while taking on human form by day. Players split into townfolk and demons, and a Storyteller runs the night phase. There's no table or board needed, as the Storyteller handles the setup, and every player brings a unique ability to the mix. Even when you're killed off, you return as a ghost who can still win, and latecomers can jump in as a Traveller character, so you're never out of the action for long.
The Leeds sessions are run by the Leeds Nerds meetup group, which holds regular games nights and geeky activities near the city centre and runs a Discord server. On the night, they stage three simultaneous games for different skill levels, so you can play at your own pace. Beginners start with the introductory Trouble Brewing script and get a full rules explanation. Intermediates move on to advanced base scripts like Bad Moon Rising or Sects and Violets, and advanced players get a wider range of custom scripts. If you've never played before, you'll be in the beginners' game with plenty of other new faces, and if you've got a few sessions under your belt, you can step up to something more complex.

It's a game of bluffing and deduction, and because it's run by a Storyteller rather than a board, the focus is entirely on the people in the room. The session is £5 per person, and it kicks off at 18:00 at The Tetley on Hunslet Road.
