Live gig by the Chicago instrumental trio Bitchin Bajas, with guests, at the Brudenell Social Club.
Bitchin Bajas play Brudenell Social Club on Monday 19 October, with guests on the bill. They're a Chicago trio who play hypnotic instrumental music, balancing synthesizers with non-electronic instruments. It's the kind of sound that doesn't rely on a singer to carry it, and the instrumental focus is right at the front of what they do.
Their output now spans ten albums, a body of work they describe as a 'cinematic universe' and that follows the acclaimed Inland See. As their discography has grown, the sound has expanded to include both casual recordings and more ambitious studio creations, so the set can pull from a fair bit of ground. Isle Peaks came out of the Inland See sessions and first appeared digitally on Qobuz in January 2026, with 'Watch your Step' added to the vinyl edition.
