Drop-in craft workshop to make autumn leaf luminaries and other seasonal crafts at the Leeds Industrial Museum during the half-term.
Autumn Leaf Luminaries is running at Leeds Industrial Museum over the October half term, on Tuesday 27, Wednesday 28 and Thursday 29 October. It's a family craft workshop where you make seasonal luminaries using autumn leaves of all colours and shapes scavenged from the museum grounds, alongside other seasonal crafts.
The workshop is part of a wider half-term programme at the museum, the former Armley Mills. For the school holidays, the place turns into a small autumn festival, pairing the making session with a Scarecrow Trail and the miniature picture house Mystery Matinees. The setting itself adds to the experience: interactive galleries, historic machinery and grounds with working exhibits.
