Autumn Adventure Day at Herd Farm

Herd Farm is running an Autumn Adventure Day on Wednesday 28 October, a full day of outdoor activity for children aged 8 to 14. It's held at the Herd Farm Activity Centre on Harrogate Road in Leeds, run by Herd Farm Residential & Activity Centre. The day runs from 9 am to 4 pm, with doors opening at 8:45 am.

The centre frames its holiday clubs as a safe outdoor space where young people can get some fresh air, take on new challenges, make friends or simply enjoy the great outdoors. It's pitched as a full day of outdoor adventure, so it's one of those things you can drop the kids off at for the whole day while you get on with your own things. A healthy lunch cooked by the centre's chef is included in the price, and parking is free.

If you're looking for more than a single day, there's a three-day pass available as well. The cost is £48 per place per day, or £135 for the three-day pass, with lunch and a snack included in both. The centre also runs a Family Halloween evening of outdoor adventure, campfire fun and torchlit walks, and a wreath-making workshop in the poly tunnel, so there are a few different ways to get the kids out this half term.
